ATLANTA, Ga. - Guilford College women's basketball was recognized by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) on Tuesday among the top 25 academic teams in the nation across Division III. The recognition honors college women's basketball teams nationwide that hold the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season.
The Quakers finished 11th nationally with a team GPA of 3.783, earning a spot on the WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll for the 2025-26 academic year. The honor highlights the program's continued commitment to success in the classroom and on the court.
The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes women's basketball programs in the NCAA Division I, II, and III. To be eligible, a program must post a combined GPA of at least 3.0, be nominated by its head coach and have a coach that holds WBCA membership.
