RESULTS
The Guilford College women's swimming team traveled crosstown to face Greensboro College. The Quakers pushed the Pride but were ultimately edged out, 98-97.
The evening began with the 200 Medley Relay as the quartet of
Faith Ingram,
Morgan Lawson,
Nili Ocran and
Josephine Hemmer finished with a time of 2:43.47.
Hemmer also competed in the 1000-yard freestyle (17:37.00), 100 Fly (1:35.99) and the 100 IM (1:25.75). Ingram swam in the 200 Free (2:54.03), 50 Free (37.10), and the 100 Free (1:30.26).
For Lawson, her evening consisted of the 50 Free (32.90), 100 Free (1:37.83) and the 50 Fly (47.28). Individually, Ocran took part in the 50 Breast (38.21), 50 Free (44.32) and the 100 Breast (1:50.02).
Kiersten Walker also swam on the evening with places in the 50 Back (40.06), 100 Back (1:27.89) and the 50 Fly (41.61).Â
The evening concluded with the 200 Free Relay as the quartet of Ingram, Lawson, Walker and Hemmer finished first with a time of 2:09.06.
Guilford makes the trek to Cary, N.C. for a meet against host William Peace University and Hampden-Sydney College at the Triangle Aquatic Center.
