The Guilford College men's golf team traveled to Crozet, Virginia for the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship held at Old Trail Golf Club. After the first round, the Quakers sit fifth overall with a team score of 294 (+10).
Freshman
Michael Vick led Guilford after carding a 72 (+1) and currently sitting tied for seventh. Fellow freshman
Parker Cumbea was the next lowest Quaker with a round of two-over (73).
Sophomore
Landon Barnes shot 74 (+3) and is currently tied for 20th. Sophomore
James Alden and freshman
Evan Mendyk both finished their rounds with 75 (+4) and are tied for 26th.
Hampden-Sydney College currently leads the team portion with a score of 282 (-2). Roaonke's Sean Furlong and Lynchburg's Eddie Coffren are tied for the low medalist after shooting 68 (-3).
The ODAC Championship will wrap up tomorrow as teams will play 36 holes now due to the forecasted weather for Sunday. The Quakers will tee off starting at 8:00 a.m.
