WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The (RV) Guilford College men's golf team sent three individuals to compete in the Glenn Heath Memorial, hosted by The Apprentice School, on Monday through Tuesday at Williamsburg Golf Club.

Christopher Newport University's Fischer Leggitt would receive the individual medalist for the event after a comeback three-birdie stretch on the front nine, firing a 145 (+1) total score after two days of play.

Larsen Gallimore (Walnut Cove, N.C.) continued his streak of strong performances heading into the opening round of the tournament, logging a 75 (+3) with three birdies. Gallimore would match that showing on day two, recording birdies on the par-5 fourth and the par-5 tenth to dominate Tuesday's round with a 74 (+2) to tally a 149 (+5) in total, being Gallimore's career-low two-day score and his career-best finish of sixth place.

Samanyu Bedi (Pinehurst, N.C.) began his spring with a rocky start before closing the first day off soundly with four birdies in round one to fire an 80 (+8), with a four-stroke improvement on the back-nine. Bedi would falter slightly in the closing 18 on Tuesday, before rebounding with a two-over run on the back nine for a 79 (+7) to finish the outing with a 159 (+15), marking out in tied for 32nd.

Lucas Falcone (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) debuted in his first spring tournament for Guilford, faltering early with a three-over start before ending the round strong with four straight pars and a birdie on the par-4 eleventh to record an 80 (+8) in round one. Bogeys would fluster Falcone heading into the final round, concluding with an 81 (+9), tying for 42nd overall.

Guilford will receive a few weeks of rest before the final tournament of the regular season on Monday, April 13th, through Tuesday, April 14th, at the Sam Snead Intercollegiate at Golden Horseshoe Golf Club in Williamsburg, Va.
