Beacham leads Guilford in scoring (12.8 ppg.), assists (4.0 apg.) and three-point field goals (19). The ODAC Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 10, she ranks third among the league's assists leaders, fifth in free-throw percentage (.750), 12th in scoring and second in assist/turnover ratio (1.41). The 5-6 captain stands second on the team in rebounding (5.6 rpg) and third in steals (1.54). Beacham led Guilford's offense 11 times this year (six times in the last eight games) and hit for a career-best 26 points in the season-opening win over Oglethorpe. She passed the 1,000 career-point plateau Jan. 12 at Eastern Mennonite and enters the ODAC Tournament ranked seventh among the Quakers' career scoring leaders with 1,157 points.

Evans repeats as an honorable mention All-ODAC performer after averaging 6.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 21 games. Her 2.85 assist/turnover ratio tops the ODAC and she stands fifth in assists. One of the Quakers' top defenders, Evans stands second on the team with 1.57 steals per game. She netted a season-high 14 points in Guilford's Jan. 23 win at Washington and Lee, one of four games with 10 or more points. The 2001 ODAC Women's Soccer Player of the Year, Evans ranks second among Guilford's career leaders in steals (235) and fourth in assists (327).

Guilford (21-3, 18-2 ODAC) begins defense of its 2001 ODAC Tournament title Thursday (02/21) as the top seed in the eight-team field. Coach Barb Bausch's Quakers open play at 12:30 p.m. against eighth-seeded Hollins (10-15, 6-14 ODAC) in the Salem (VA) Civic Center.
