RESULTS

The Guilford College men's and women's track team took part in the COROS Collegiate Invitational on Sunday, January 22 at the JDL Fast Track.

On the women's side leading the way was Portia Star Jones and Natalie Moore. For Jones, she finished fifth in the shot put with a distance of 11.74 meters while also competing in the weight throw (10.30-meter). Moore placed fifth in the long jump with a distance of 4.98 meters and tied for seventh in the high jump (1.48-meter).

For the men, Seth Athey and Tre Alexander paved the way for the Quakers. Athey claimed first in the shot put with a throw of 13.80 meters and also took part in the weight throw (8.36m). Alexander took home fifth in the long jump with a distance of 6.67 meters.

Andrew Lee (Shot Put) - 13.67 meters
Jade Wilson (Shot Put) - 9.39 meters

Guilford will travel to Lexington, Virginia for the VMI Winter Relays on Saturday, Feburary 4.
