GREENSBORO, N.C.– Nailing the automatic qualifier for the NCAA Championship after a commanding 19-stroke ODAC Tournament victory over No. 6 Washington & Lee University, the (RV) Guilford Golf Team will pursue their third national title in program history at the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Golf National Championship on Tuesday, May 12th, through Friday, May 15th at the Mission Resort & Club on the El Campeon and Las Colinas courses in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.
The underdog story is taking into shape as the Quakers dominated in the conference tournament, capturing their 20th ODAC crown all time back in late April. The Guilford starting five looked to shine under pressure heading into the 2025-26 campaign as Guilford graduated many greats being
Evan Mendyk '24, MBA '25,
James Alden '24, MBA '25, and
Parker Cumbea '25 from last season's lineup. This isn't a familiar story for head coach
Ben Potter, driving his Quakers' squad to their 26th national championship appearance in program history and are looking to snatch their first title since the 2004-05 season. Guilford looks to rely on past experiences from the NCAA Preview from this past fall along with their scorching postseason performances to seize control of their third national title.
