WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Guilford College track & field team kicked off its 2025-26 indoor season at the Get Your Marks Invite hosted by JDL Fast Track on Saturday in Winston-Salem, N.C., opening the year with promising marks in the field events.

In women's shot put, Bess Parnell (Cairo, Egypt) led the way for the Quakers with a throw of 7.16m in her season debut. Bec Cormack (Forest Park, Ill.) also began their indoor campaign with a solid mark, recording a throw of 5.77m.

The Quakers return to action on Saturday, January 17, at the Mondo College Invitational, once again hosted by JDL Fast Track.
