The Washington and Lee Generals are currently ranked second in all of NCAA Division III according to the United Soccer Coaches Poll.

In goal Roman Robinson made two saves before he let up the first goal at 23:40.

It appeared as if it was going to be a competitive contest as Kenny Nzekwe found the back of the goal in the 28th minute to even the score. His goal was helped along by Adrian Pineda.

The hosts were able to make the board just once more before the half, as just over two minutes remained on the clock.

The wheels began to fall off, as No 2 WLU posted six more goals in the first 25 minutes of the second half.

Not giving up despite the size of the task, Ryan Dole scored an unassisted tally with 18 seconds remaining in the contest.

Despite being dealt a loss, Roman Robinson stood tall in goal. Robinson made 11 saves in his 90 minutes played.

Kenny Nzekwe continues to lead his squad in scoring, now owning 16 points on eight goals. He ranks second in the ODAC in both categories.
