HOW IT HAPPENED

In goal, Roman Robinson was able to hold off a strong Roanoke squad through the opening 29 minutes of the contest, but the host was able to put up their first goal of the contest at 29:21.

The Maroon carried their 1-0 lead into the second half.

It appeared Guilford was on the right track as Victor Jimenez just over two minutes into the second frame to tie the game, 1-1. The senior's goal was assisted by James Privette.

The last contest for the Quakers, things got heated as each team received at least one yellow card.

QUAKERS' TOP PERFORMERS

In his final contest as a Quaker, Victor Jimenez recorded the lone goal. Jimenez will graduate having recorded 12 points on five goals and two assists while wearing the GC cardinal and grey.

The assist on Guilford's goal was recorded by James Privette, marking this his first career-assist.

Closing out the season having appeared in all 15 contests for the season, Roman Robinson made 10 saves on the evening. Robinson has made 90 saves in 1291:45 minutes played.
