CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Guilford College men's and women's cross country teams participated in the JWU Wildcat XC Classic on Friday evening.

HOW IT WENT

Freshman Josephine Hemmer was the lone women's representative for Guilford. Hemmer placed 30th (of 45), with a time of 25:24.1, averaging 5:04.8 per km.

Leading the men was classmate Nate Warden with his 24th (of 52) place finish. Warden posted a time of 30:56.0, while averaging a 6:13.4 mile.

Rounding out the Quaker squad was Will Nowatka with his 36th place finish, as he posted a time of 35:23.5. Nowatka averaged a 7:07 mile time.
NEXT RACE
The Quakers will travel to Bridgewater, Va. next Saturday, Oct. 30 for the ODAC Cross Country Championships. Racing is scheduled for 11 a.m.
