WINCHESTER Va. -- The Guilford College men's soccer team fell at Randolph University, 4-2 Saturday afternoon.

THE BASICS

• Score: Randolph 4, Guilford 2

• Records: Randolph 11-0-2 (4-2-0 ODAC), Guilford 4-7-0 (1-6-0 ODAC) 

• Location: Sprint Field at Shentel Stadium - Winchester, Va.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Randolph recorded its first score of the night just three minutes into the contest to go up 1-0.

• The hosts responded to displeasure with a yellow card with another goal at 11:02, making the score 2-0.

• The Wildcats rounded out the first half with two more goals for a 4-0 lead.

• Guilford's Ryan Doyle was able to get his squad on the board with his unassisted tally at 64:45, to cut Randolph's lead to three (4-1).

• It was Rodrigo Gudiño who posted the Quakers' second goal of the day. His unassisted goal at 66:26 rounded out the evening's scoring.

QUAKERS' TOP PERFORMERS

• In goal, Roman Robinson had a total of five saves to raise his season total to 69. Robinson has started and played in all 12 games for the Quakers.

• After this evening's goal, Ryan Doyle now has two goals on the season. 

• As for Rodrigo Gudiño, he now has six points on three tallies.
