LYNCHBURG, Va. -- The Guilford College men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 contest at Lynchburg University on Wednesday evening. 

THE BASICS

• Records: Lynchburg 8-4-1 (4-1-0 ODAC), Guilford 5-6-0 (0-5-0 ODAC)

• Location: Shellenberger Field - Lynchburg, Va. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• The visiting Quakers were able to keep the Hornets at bay through the opening half, as the pair were knotted at zero after 45 minutes.

• Lynchburg was finally able to find the back of the goal at 47:13. 

• The hosts scored their second goal later in the game at 82:16.

• GC's lone shot of the game came at 70:57, a shot that went wide left.

QUAKERS' TOP PERFORMERS

• In goal for the Quakers, Roman Robinson mad six saves in his 90 minutes played.

• The owner of Guilford's only goal was Junior Chavez.
