Box Score

SALEM, Va. – Isaac Wolf scored a goal and an assist in 18th-ranked Roanoke College's 2-0 victory over Guilford College Sunday night in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament quarterfinal.

The Maroons (14-1-3), seeded third in the nine-team field, advance to the ODAC Tournament semifinals. Guilford ends its season with a 7-9-1 record.

Ranked 18th in this week's United Soccer Coaches Association Division III Poll, the Maroons took an early 1-0 lead when Liam Camilleri headed in a cross from Isaac Wolf at the 9:44 mark.

Wolf doubled Roanoke's advantage when he sent a long ball over the head of Guilford goaltender Fisher Athey and into the back of the net less than 10 minutes into the second half.

Athey recorded five stops for the Quakers, while Zach Behe made three saves to earn the shutout for the Maroons. Roanoke held a 12-9 edge in shots and had six of the game's eight corner kicks.

The loss concludes one of Guilford's more successful seasons in recent history. The Quakers earned their highest ODAC Tournament seed (6th) since 2012 with a 5-3 conference record that marked their most ODAC wins since 2012. The contest marked the final for the team's seven seniors, including midfielder Ricky Aguilar who scored 67 points in 69 matches, sixth-most in school history.
