GREENSBORO, N.C. (9/29/10) -- Ellie Taylor scored in the seventh minute to give Guilford College a 1-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) soccer win over visiting Randolph College Wednesday afternoon. The victory marked the Quakers' (5-5-1, 2-1-1 ODAC) third straight 1-0 victory.  

Taylor followed her own shot off the crossbar, narrowly beat Wildcats' keeper Victoria Johnson to the loose ball and knocked it into the goal for her second goal of the season.  

While the Quakers dominated play and held a 24-1 advantage in shots, Johnson kept the Wildcats (3-4-1, 0-2-1 ODAC) in the match with nine saves. Guilford also had all 11 of the game's corner kicks.  

Guilford hosts league-rival Randolph-Macon College Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in the Armfield Athletic Center.
