FERRUM, Va. (9/26/10) -- Guilford College and Ferrum College played to a 0-0 double-overtime men's soccer draw Sunday afternoon in nonconference play.  

The Quakers (5-3-1) held a 21-8 edge in shots, but could not put one past Panthers' (2-5-1) keeper Chris Taylor, who made nine saves. Guilford's goalie tandem of starter Jonathan Shine and Michael MacVane combined for four stops, three in the second overtime period.  

The contest ended Guilford's six-game road trip, during which time the Quakers forged a 4-1-1 record.

Guilford returns to host Emory & Henry College Wednesday (9/29) at 7:00 p.m. in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference match
