SWEET BRIAR, Va. (9/25/10) -- Emma Blaylock's first goal of the season in the 66th minute gave visiting Guilford College a 1-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) soccer win at Sweet Briar College Saturday. Blaylock scored off a Bri Eilman feed at the 65:45 mark to break a scoreless tie and lift the visiting Quakers (4-5-1, 1-1-1 ODAC) to their first league win of the year.  

Despite holding a 22-2 edge in shots, Guilford only beat Vixens keeper Seanne Weeks on Blaylock's shot. Weeks made 15 saves in goal, nine in the second half.  

Guilford goalie Kat Adams made one stop for her second shutout of the season, which lowered her goals against average to 0.48 in seven appearances.  

Sweet Briar fell to 4-5 (0-3 ODAC) with the loss.  

The Quakers are back in action Wednesday (9/29) against visiting Randolph College at 4:00 p.m.
