Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

GREENSBORO, N.C. (3/27/10) -- Charissa Duncan's two-run, walk-off homer lifted Guilford College to an 8-6 comeback win and a sweep of Eastern Mennonite University in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) softball Saturday.

The Quakers (21-4-1, 7-1 ODAC) took the opener, 5-1, thanks to Jessica Burcham's complete-game six-hitter and Duncan's three-run, first-inning double.

Eastern Mennonite (11-8, 2-4 ODAC) took a 6-3 lead into the bottom of the seventh of game two before the Quakers rallied for their seventh straight win. Three singles loaded the bases for Kimberly Keys, who cleared them and tied the game at 6-6 with a three-run double. Julie Langseth sacrificed pinch-runner Tabitha Poole to third before Duncan ended the game with her team- and career-high fifth homer. The blast marked Duncan's second game-winning, walk-off hit of the season.

Burcham (8-1) picked up her team-leading eighth win of the season with 1.1 scoreless innings in relief. Keys was 2-3 with three RBI for Guilford. Teammates Autumn Yoder and Courtney Kozar both had two hits. Morgan Andrews hit her third homer of the season, a two-run shot in the third inning.

Duncan's two-out, bases-clearing double in the first inning of game one provided all the runs Burcham needed as the sophomore scattered six hits in her sixth complete game of 2010. Keys hit her third home run of the year, a two-run shot in the fifth inning. Lauren Duncan was 2-3 with two runs scored.

Jessica Blosser's two hits lead the Royals in game one. She had three hits, including two doubles and an RBI, in the nightcap.

Guilford visits league-rival Emory & Henry College Wednesday (3/31) at 3:00 p.m.
