Greensboro, N.C. (10/3/09) -- Eastern Mennonite University's Mitchell Leap scored his second goal of the match with 6:02 left in regulation to lift the visiting Royals past Guilford College, 4-3, in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) match Saturday night.

The Royals (3-3-4, 1-1-2 ODAC) scored three consecutive goals after the Quakers took an early 1-0 lead on Ronnie Castellanos' goal in the 16th minute of the first half. Leap gave the Royals a 2-1 halftime advantage with an unassisted tally in the 26th minute.

After Eastern Mennonite's Tyler Gilchrist extended the lead to 3-1 midway through the second half, Guilford (7-5-1, 2-2 ODAC) pulled to within 3-2 on Jordan Alexander's goal less than a minute later. The two teams traded goals in the final six minutes of the match with Ronnie Castellanos scoring the final goal of the game in the 86th minute.

The Royals outshot the Quakers, 15-12, and Guilford's Jonathan Shine recorded five of his six saves in the second half.

Guilford hosts Randolph College Tuesday (10/6) at 7:00 p.m. in an ODAC match.
