Box Score

Greensboro, N.C. (10/23/07) -- Senior Micki Boulineau won the Guilford College Student-Athlete of the Week Award for the week ending Oct. 21. The weekly prize is made by Guilford's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

In a 3-1 week for Guilford, Boulineau collected seven assists and three goals. She scored the lone goal in a 1-2 loss to Meredith then dominated in a 7-0 win over Sweet Briar with two goals and two assists. Boulineau also notched a combined five assists in victories over Randolph and Hollins.

Starting all 17 games for the Quakers, she has five goals and eight assists for 18 points. Boulineau's assists rank her first on the team, tie her for second in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) and fourth in assists per game (0.47) through games of Oct. 22.

Before her final regular season match, Boulineau is ranked sixth in Guilford's history with 57 career points and second in career assists, needing only two more to take the lead.

Coach Eric Lewis' Quakers (7-10) look to take the fourth seed in the ODAC Tournament, pending their final regular season contest against Lynchburg. If Guilford wins, they will host Lynchburg in the first round of the tournament, beginning Saturday, Oct. 27.

Guilford's SAAC is comprised of representatives from each of the school's 16 varsity teams. The group meets regularly to discuss the state of Guilford Athletics and seeks to build community among student-athletes and non-student-athletes on the campus. Recent Guilford SAAC activities include a canned-food drive to benefit local charities and dodgeball competitions among representatives from Guilford's administration and athletic teams.
