Sweet Briar, Va. (10/18/06) -- Five different Guilford College students scored in the Quakers' 5-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) triumph at Sweet Briar Wednesday. Guilford improved to 11-5-1 with the win and maintained at least a share of the lead in the ODAC with a 8-1-1 mark. Sweet Briar falls to 3-11 (1-9 ODAC).

Emily Ott's second goal of the season 3:46 before halftime marked all of the scoring in a defensive first half, but the Quakers offense got rolling when Jennah Carter netted her team-leading 18th goal of the season at the 53:19 mark. Carter set up an Erin Rothweiler tally just under four minutes later.

Micki Boulineau scored for the fourth time in five matches and Morgan Jones netted her second goal of the year to round out the scoring.

Guilford's Veronica Zych made two saves to post her second shutout of the year and her fifth of the season. Sweet Briar's Kristen Johnson made 11 stops for the Vixens.

The Quakers host Randolph-Macon Woman's College Saturday (10/21) at 1:00 p.m. at Haworth Field.
