Greensboro, N.C. (10/14/06) -- Guilford's Micki Boulineau converted a free kick with 12:32 left in the match to break a 1-1 tie, and give Guilford a 2-1 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women's soccer win over Roanoke Saturday.

The Quakers improve to 9-5-1, 7-1-1 in the ODAC. Roanoke falls to 9-4-1, 5-3 in the ODAC.

The Maroons' Kristen McCoy gave the guests an early 1-0 lead with an unassisted in the 12th minute. Guilford's Jada Daniel tied the match by heading in a ball from Erin Rothweiler at the 60:10 mark.

Guilford outshot the Maroons 16-5. Roanoke goalie Erin Hanson made nine saves, while Guilford netminder Veronica Zych stopped three shots.

Guilford returns to action Monday (10/16) hosting Chowan at 4:00 p.m. on Haworth Field.
