Mullen Receives ODAC Player Of The Week Honors

Box Score

The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) selected Guilford College sophomore Kimberly Mullen (Massapequa Park, NY/Massapequa) as its Women's Soccer Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

Mullen, a sophomore midfielder, scored a career-high five goals and two assists in Guilford's 14-0 triumph over Hollins September 17. Her five goals and 12 points stand second on Guilford's single-game scoring lists. Her 12 points tied an ODAC record for points in a game. On September 21, she notched two more goals in the Quakers' 3-2 home loss to Randolph-Macon Woman's College. Entering Thursday's match with Emory & Henry, Mullen led the Quakers with 36 points (14 goals, 8 assists), all of which have come in the last five games.

Coach Eric Lewis's Quakers (5-3-1, 2-1 ODAC) meet ODAC-rival Emory & Henry in a home game Thursday (9/26). Guilford then travels to Randolph-Macon on Saturday (9/28) for another ODAC match.
