LAKE DAVIDSON, N.C. - Sadie Cyr (Hadley, Mass.) opened the season for the Guilford College triathlon team Sunday morning, competing at the Lake Davidson Sprint Triathlon in Lake Davidson, N.C.

Following a standout freshman campaign, Cyr opened the season finishing 32 of 45 with a total time of 1:18:40.44. She completed the swim in 10:48.28, posted a bike time of 41:02.83, and finished off with a 26:24.46 combined time for her second transition and run. 

The next outing for the Quakers will be Saturday, October 3 at the Nat Greene Revenge Triathlon Sprint. They stay local at Lake Brandt in Greensboro, N.C.
