GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Guilford College men's tennis team, in collaboration with North Carolina Central University, and in the safety and best interests of all involved, postponed their spring-opening contest indefinitely, the departments announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Originally scheduled to play the Eagles on Saturday, February 7^th to open their spring slate of competition, the start to the Quakers spring season will now get moved back a week, to February 14^th when they play Piedmont University starting at 3:30 PM at the McMichael Courts. The makeup date for GC vs. NCCU is to be determined.

The change comes due to poor court conditions in the aftermath of recent winter weather. In that vein, Guilford Athletics would like to emphasize the interest of safety, and wish all of Quaker nation safe travels.
