GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Guilford College baseball teams, in collaboration with Lycoming College, and in the safety and best interests of all involved, have adjusted their weekend series due to incoming rain, the departments announced on Wednesday.

The Quakers will now host the Warriors for a doubleheader on Saturday, February 14^th with first pitch of game one set for 11:00 AM as they move up their originally scheduled Sunday showdown. GC's home-opener on the afternoon on Friday, February 13^th remains unchanged with a 2:00 PM start.

The changes come due to a soggy forecast for Sunday, and with the adjusted weekend series, the department hopes for better playing conditions for all participants, workers, and fans. In that vein, Guilford Athletics would like to emphasize the interest of safety as the games approach, and wish all safe travels.
