FOREST, Va. – The Guilford College athletics department saw 13 student-athletes recognized by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) on the 2024-25 ODAC Sportsmanship Teams for the winter and spring seasons, as announced by the conference offices on Friday afternoon.
Selected by the coaching staffs, a single student-athlete from each team that competes in the conference is selected as they best represent the Quakers and the ODAC as a whole for their dedication to fair play and good sportsmanship during competition.
""Sportsmanship and respect are fundamental to the ODAC's mission," ODAC Commissioner Brad Bankston stated in the conference release. "These student-athletes have been recognized for their commitment to fair play and respect for their opponents—qualities that deserve greater recognition. I thank these honorees for setting an outstanding example for all of us."
GC features a trio of repeat-selections from the 2023-24 picks among their 2024-25 honorees, with men's basketball's
Caleb Farrish (McLeansville, N.C.), women's basketball's
Madey Briggs (Sandy Ridge, N.C.), and men's lacrosse's
Wyatt Dwyer (Seattle, Wash.) representing their respective teams for the second-straight year. A fourth Quaker,
