GC Moves Up Two Spots from Last Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The Quakers move back up for the first time in three weeks in the latest edition of the D3hoops.com Top 25 poll, in sixth. GC is undefeated in four straight contests, and have won seven of their last eight in the month of January. Transitioning from late January to February, the Quakers have a strong hold on third in ODAC play, sitting at 9-2 in conference play, and 18-2 overall. This also marks the seventh straight week that Guilford has been ranked in the top 10.

ODAC foe Hampden-Sydney are atop the rankings once more, receiving 23 first place votes, with a record of 18-1. Among them in the top five are John Carroll (No. 2), Trine (No. 3), Trinity (CT, No. 4) and Oswego State (No. 5). Reigning conference champions Randolph-Macon slides up two spots to number eight. For the second straight week, three ODAC schools are ranked in the top 10 of Division III.

The Quakers finish off January with a mid-week trip to face the Lynchburg Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, then return home for a pivotal matchup versus Shenandoah at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
