The Guilford College women's lacrosse team welcome the fifth-ranked Washington and Lee Generals to Appenzeller Field. The Quakers fell to the Generals, 24-2.

Washington and Lee took early control of the game and scored the first 16 goals spanning the first and second periods. 6:58 left in the second, Sydne Sawyer got Guilford on the board. The Generals closed out the half by adding three more goals and leading 19-1 at the break.

In the second half, the visitors added four in the third and another in the fourth period. Sawyer scored the final goal of the game with an assist from Maggie Bryson.

Guilford (4-9, 1-4) will host Ferrum College on Thursday, April 21 at 7:00 p.m.
