The Guilford College women's volleyball team traveled to Ferrum College to face the Panthers in a conference showdown. The Quakers swept the Panthers, 3-0.

In the opening set, both teams went back-and-forth until Guilford scored four-straight to lead by six (13-7). Later in the set, GC used a 6-0 run to open a double-digit lead (21-10). The Quakers went on to win the set, 25-13.

The second set was all about going on runs. Guilford had runs of five points to gain a 15-9 lead. Trailing 10 (23-13), Ferrum went on a 7-1 to pull within four (24-20). However, the Quakers won the final point and the set, 25-20.

The Panthers led for most of the third set until GC used a 10-1 run to take a 22-18 edge. Ferrum won the next two points before an error and two Natalie Moore kills secured the set and the match.

Moore led the attack with 12 kills followed by nine for Cam Blankenship. Maddi Page totaled 32 assists while Lydia Saunders added 12 digs.

Guilford returns to campus for the final home game of the season against Randolph College on Wednesday, October 26. Start time is set for 6:00 p.m.
