The Guilford College women's volleyball faced Randolph College in the home finale. The Quakers bested the WildCats, 3-1.
In the opening set, Guilford wasted little time and jumped out to an 11-4 lead. The Quakers expanded their lead and went on to win the set, 25-11.
The second set was back and forth effort for the beginning half. Randolph won four-straight to gain a 16-13 lead and closed the set on an 8-0 run to win, 25-15.
GC responded in the third and jumped out to a 12-point advantage (20-8). The WildCats tried to climb back into the set but the Quakers held on for the 25-17 win.
The fourth was exactly the same as the third with Guilford taking early control and going on to win the set, 25-16, and the match, 3-1.
Paige McDonald led the offense with 11 kills while
Vanessa Johnson totaled eight.
Maddi Page added 32 assists with 14 digs while Moore led the defense with 16 digs.
Guilford wraps up the 2022 season on Friday, October 28 at Methodist University. Start time is at 7:00 p.m.
