GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The Guilford College men's tennis team blanked Brevard College for its first time back at the Dorothy Ragsdale McMichael '37 Centennial Class Courts since March 10, 2020.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Guilford won all 9 of its matchups.

• Drake Schrieber and Evan Wong took down their opponents 8-0 in the first doubles match.

• Jay Montague and Tye Sasser won their second doubles match 9-1.

• Andrew Ferris and Dominik Pocrnja combined to win the final doubles matchup, 8-4.

• In the first singles slot, Schreiber took down the Tornados' Devin Horton 6-1, 6-1.

• Montague claimed his second-slotted singles match in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0.

• Freshman Evan Wong blanked his opponents in the third spot (6-0, 6-0).

• At fourth singles Ferris took down Hunter Williams 6-0, 6-0.

• Porcnja collected his second win of the day at fifth singles, 6-1, 6-0.

• With the last matchup of the day, Sassler took down Brevard's Hunter Williams, 6-0, 6-2.

The Quakers will resume action following the winter break on February 27th as they host the Averett University Cougars for a 1 p.m. match.
