HOW IT HAPPENED
In the first set, Emory and Henry put the first point on the board, 1-0. The game started with good momentum on both sides. The Quakers trailed behind as Maddi Page snuck a point in, 9-5. After three block assists in a row, GC called a TO to come out with a kill 13-8. After a kill attempt, Cydney Scott goes up for another kill opportunity. E&H ended the first set taking the win, 25-20.
Set two started off with a kill by Scott with an assist from Page. Both teams were going back and forth with scoring with GC taking the lead 9-6. The crowd goes wild after a hard block from Faith Fennell followed by a powerful kill by Page. The Quakers ended this set with a nice kill from Needham, 20-25.
The third set had a lot of intensity on the court from both teams. E&H put the first point on the board by a kill from Camden Jones. After a long volley, GC stole the point with a kill from Needham, 8-14, but E&H still was in the lead. E&H came out on top in this set with a score of 25-17.
In set four, E&H scored the first five points back to back. The Quakers were able to put their first point on the board by Avery Lemons with an assist from Page, 5-1. The Quakers had a nice comeback from 5-1 to 5-4 and eventually was in the lead, 8-6. It started to get messy during the fourth set so GC called a T at 16-12. E&H continued to score on the Quakers but the Quakers were not backing down. It became a close game towards the end but E&H ended the set with 25-20.
TOP PERFORMING QUAKERS

Cydney Scott and Kaitlyn Kelley both scored a total of 13 points in the game. Scott also had a total of two block assists putting her at a season total of 58 kills and two block assists.

Senior Adison Needham scored 11 points. Needham has a total of 153 season kills and 548 attacks.

Vanessa Johnson came third in points scoring 9.5 with two solid blocks.
