WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (9/25/10) -- Brittany Freeman had 10 kills on .400 hitting and Malikah French hit .800 with eight kills in Guilford College's 3-0 win at Salem College. The scores of the match were 25-18, 25-17, 25-16.  

Guilford (8-6) hit a season-high .327 in the match and had 45 kills, a season-high for three-set contests. Setter Taylor Whitley led the way with 25 assists and a career-high four service aces. Taylor Phillips had 12 digs in her debut at libero. Laura Kopald chipped in with eight kills and three digs.  

Cassie Durham and Keri Nolan both had six kills for the Spirits (3-8). Sara Maher had 13 assists and three service aces.  

Guilford hosts North Carolina Wesleyan College Thursday night (9/30) at 7:00 p.m.
