Box Score GREENSBORO, N.C . (1/5/10) - Alexa Williams posted her second double-double of the season with 20 points and 10 rebounds in Guilford College's 71-53 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) victory over visiting Hollins University Tuesday night.
The Quakers (6-4, 3-2 ODAC) notched their fourth win in five games and their third straight league win. Hollins (1-7, 0-5 ODAC) suffered its seventh straight setback.
Williams drained her first six shots from the floor and had 12 points by halftime. The Quakers held Hollins to five-of-19 field-goal shooting and forced 15 turnovers to take a 35-20 lead at the break.
Jasmine Greene scored 17 of her game-high 25 points in the second half for Hollins, but could not pull her team any closer than 14 points in the period. Hollins made seven-of-32 second-half field goals and had 11 more turnovers.
Ann Seufer (11 points) and Lauren LeFevers (10 points) also scored in double-figures for Guilford. Seufer added four rebounds, a game-high four assists and three steals for the Quakers.
Guilford returns to action Friday at Bridgewater College in a 7:00 p.m. ODAC contest
