Box Score Greensboro, N.C. (1/15/10) -- Maggie Roy scored a game-high 24 points leading Randolph-Macon past Guilford 87-59 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) basketball action Friday night.
The Yellow Jackets (9-3, 7-1ODAC) shot a blistering 67 percent (8-12) from 3-point range in the first half to open up a 22-point lead at halftime and notch their 14th straight victory over Guilford (8-6, 5-4 ODAC) in the Ragan-Brown Field House.
Roy was joined by Molly Ariail, who recorded a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds on the night. Jennifer O'Briant added a game-high eight assists for Randolph-Macon. The Yellow Jackets recorded 25 team assists and shot 49.2 percent from the floor.
Joclyn Terry came off the bench in the second half to lead Guilford with 10 points. The Quakers were held to 32.3 percent shooting from the floor. LeAnne Birdsall grabbed a team-high seven boards in reserve duty.
Guilford returns to action Saturday (1/16) hosting ODAC-rival Virginia Wesleyan at 4:00 p.m.
