Greensboro, N.C. (3/25/08) -- Jeff Guerrie homered and doubled in Greensboro College's 9-2 win over Guilford College Tuesday night at NewBridge Bank Park.

Anthony Corona was two-for-three with a homer and three RBIs for The Pride. He now has six home runs this year, four versus Guilford. He hit three in the Feb. 5 game at McBane Field.

Greensboro put four unearned runs on the board off of loser Alex Pecevich (0-1) in the third inning, which included Corona's long ball. Nevin Fulcher (1-0) was the pitcher of record and got the win.

The Pride put four more runs across in the fifth frame, including Guerrie's homer.

Alex Guerra also had two hits for Greensboro. A total of eight Pride pitchers allowed six Quakers' hits in the contest. Drew Ward was 1-2 and scored twice for the Quakers. Guilford is now 12-14.

The Pride swept the two-game series and is unbeaten in its three games over the past three years with the Quakers at the minor-league park. Greensboro now leads the all-time series versus Guilford, 18-16.
