Lynchburg, Va. (10/28/06) -- Guilford College's volleyball team ended the 2006 seasons with two losses in a tri-match hosted by Randolph-Macon Woman's College Saturday. The Quakers fell to the host Wildcats in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) match, 26-30, 30-28, 30-27, 30-26. Meredith defeated Guilford, 27-30, 30-22, 30-21, 30-19.

Guilford ends its season with a 3-25 overall record, 0-10 in the ODAC. Randolph-Macon Woman's College improved to 8-18, 3-7 in the ODAC. Meredith ends the season with a 12-15 record.

Juniors Katie Spina and Jenny Conner paced the Quakers against Randolph-Macon Woman's College with five kills apiece. Sophomore Kaci Loeffler added 22 digs in the match.

Against Meredith, Spina tallied eight kills, two blocks and three service aces. Freshman Cierra Briggs added eight kills and sophomore Jessica Smith added six kills. Sophomore Taylor Brown had five kills and 10 digs. Loeffler had a team-best 13 digs.
