Salem, VA -- Host Roanoke rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Guilford, 3-2, in Old Dominion Athletic Conference volleyball action Wednesday night in the Bast Center. The Maroons improve to 10-7 (4-3 ODAC), while Guilford falls to 5-10 (1-5 ODAC).  Scores of the match were: 26-30, 23-30, 31-29, 30-16, 17-15. The loss ends Guilford's two-match winning streak.

Guilford's Becca Jones had 52 assists and 15 digs. Fellow freshman Brittani Leathern threw down a team- and career-high 23 kills and had three blocks. Emily Becher added 17 kills and 13 digs. Megan Tucker contributed six kills and 11 digs.

The Quakers host the Guilford Invitational Tournament this Friday and Saturday in the Ragan-Brown Field House. Guilford meets Piedmont Friday (10/7) at 3:30 p.m. and Christopher Newport at 7:30 p.m.
