Winston-Salem, NC -- Senior hitter Mackenzie Parsio matched her career high with 20 kills and added four service aces and two digs to help visiting Guilford past Salem, 3-1, Tuesday night in a nonconference volleyball match. The scores of the match were: 30-16, 30-26, 28-30, 30-9. The victory ended the Quakers (1-4) four-game losing skid and dropped the host Spirits to 0-5.

Junior hitter Mandy Myers added nine kills for the Quakers. Seniors Kendra Harvey and Rhonda Rogers paced the defense with 13 and 12 digs, respectively.

Coach Glenda Dellinger's club plays Meredith and Lynchburg this Friday afternoon in a tournament hosted by Greensboro College.
