Pue-Gilchrist, a 5-10 outside hitter, averaged over 14 kills and 13 digs in three matches last week as the Quakers went 2-1. She served five aces during that span. Pue-Gilchrist led Guilford with 12 kills in a 3-0 victory over Salem September 17. She followed with 19 kills and 14 digs while hitting over .400 three days later to lead the Quakers to a 3-1 triumph over ODAC rival Lynchburg, the Quakers' first win over the Hornets since 1997. The next day, Pue-Gilchrist led the team with 13 kills and 15 digs in a 3-1 home loss to Bridgewater.

Pue-Gilchrist, a three-year letterwinner and the Quakers' lone senior, leads the team in kills (4.14), digs (3.95) and hitting percentage (.287). She began this week ranked among the top four in the ODAC in both kills and digs.

Coach Chuck McCracken's Quakers (6-7, 1-2 ODAC) travel to play Randolph-Macon Woman's College on Saturday (9/28). Later in the day, the Quakers meet Peace, also at Randolph-Macon Woman's College. The Quakers then visit Hollins College for a conference match on Wednesday (10/2).
