Justin Maullin enters his third season, second as the full-time head coach. He and the Quakers are coming off a 12-5-1 season while going 6-4 in conference matches as they fell in the ODAC Tournament Quarters. 

In his first season, Maullin led Guilford to an 11-6-1 record with an ODAC record of 5-4-1 and a Quarterfinals appearance in the conference tournament. With a record of 23-11-2, he has coached two All-ODAC selctions. 

Maullin was named as the Interim Head Women's Soccer Coach in August of 2021. Following the 2021 season, he was named the head women's soccer coach.

Maullin brings a wealth of experience to GC, having served in the capacities of assistant and head coach for several teams over the past 20-plus years, most recently as the head coach of LSU Shreveport's women's soccer program. He was named the 2020 Red River Athletic Conference Co-Coach of the Year while guiding eight athletes to All-Conference recognition.

The Johannesburg, South Africa Native has been all over in the NCAA Division I realm with stints at Louisiana State University, Arkansas and UNC-Greensboro. 

He spent 9 seasons at the helm of the Spartans' program, amassing a 81-73-24 record, while being honored as the 2010 SoCon Coach of the Year.

His time at UNC-Greensboro was highlighted with successful student-athletes, as Maullin coached three SoCon Freshman of the Year honorees, one SoCon Player of the Year, and one Freshman All-American. 

Prior to his work in North Carolina, Maullin spent six seasons at the University of Central Florida where he helped coach the Golden Knights to three NCAA Tournament appearances.

Maullin, a 1997 graduate of William Carey College, holds a bachelor's degree in management and marketing. As a student-athlete, he was named team captain and earned NAIA Academic All-America honors while helping the squad to a No. 1 ranking in his final year. The team again achieved this ranking in 1997 and 1998 when he served as an assistant coach.

After graduating he spent a couple of years playing professional soccer in the Eastern Indoor Soccer League. 

No doubt a world class soccer player, Maulin is a member of the William Carey Hall of Fame and was awarded the Brantley Murphy Award for dedication and excellence in connection with his work with the Olympic Development Program, which he coached to the national championship final four twice.
