Biography

2008: Started in 19 games... Finished the year with a 1.70 goals against average and a .792 save percentage... among ODAC goalkeepers this year she ranked seventh in goals against average, fifth in save percentage, and fifth in saves per game... also recorded three shutouts this year... she ranks fifth in saves (192), fifth in save percentage (.777), and third in goals against average (1.786) in Guilford's recordbooks. 2007: Started 15 games, missing four to an early-season injury... had a hand in all five of the Quakers' shutouts... made 11 saves versus regionally ranked Washington and Lee University... ranked sixth in the ODAC in saves and eighth in save percentage... Personal: Plays shortstop for the Quakers' softball team... won All-ODAC Tournament and Second Team All-ODAC honors in 2008... transferred to Guilford in fall 2007 from Anne Arundel C.C. where she played for coach Jim Griffiths... two-time all-region selection... two-time junior college softball All-American... played basketball and lacrosse for Anne Arundel... won three letters and honorable mention all-conference performer for coach Tom Taylor at Glen Burnie H.S.... 2004 class president... is a licensed practical nurse... daughter of Ken and Betty Stapler... psychology major... integrated science minor.
