Charlotte Dixon starts her third season as Guilford's head women's lacrosse coach. She filled the role on an interim basis for the 2018 season and had the interim tag removed that summer. In 2019 Dixon added the role of Athletics Department Co-Compliance Director to her Guilford duties.
In six years as a college head coach, Dixon owns a 49-47 career record. She has spent two seasons with the Quakers, during which time Guilford students have garnered three All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference honors and had nine Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Association's (IWLCA) Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll selections. In addition, Guilford was named a 2017 IWCLA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad.
A 2006 Pfeiffer University graduate, Dixon served as head women’s lacrosse coach at crosstown-rival Greensboro College from 2008-11 and worked as the school’s senior woman administrator for her final three years there. Greensboro reached four straight USA South Athletic Conference Tournament finals and had 23 all-conference commendations in her tenure.
Dixon shined as a goaltender at Pfeiffer where she twice earned first-team all-region honors from the IWLCA. A two-time All-Carolinas Virginia Athletic Conference selection, she was the NCAA Division II Falcons’ Most Valuable Player in 2006. The Galesville, Maryland, native graduated from Southern High School and serves as executive director of the North Carolina Elite Lacrosse Club in Greensboro.
Dixon and her husband, Kevin Graves, reside in Greensboro with their two sons.
