Personal: Two-time Academic All-ODAC selection... four-time member of Guilford’s Student-Athlete Honor Roll… served as a student marshall... four-year letter winner under coach Tim Guter at New Bern H.S… named All-Big East Conference in 2004… played in state games for the East team in 2004 and 2005… played four years under coach David Carroll for the OUSA Costal Crew club team… also lettered one year in track… son of Dennis Vary and Lea Forrest… dean's list student.
