2001: Tallied a career-high four assists, including two in Guilford's 4-2 victory over Bridgewater... 2000: Appeared as a starter in 16 of the Quakers' 18 games after coming on as a substitute in the first two games of the season... played a largely defensive role for most of the year... took eight shots and emerged as a future leader of this young Quakers' squad... Personal: A regular on Guilford's student-athlete honor roll... son of Richard and Priscilla Newton.
