An athletic guard with good all-around skills... Career: Started in each of his three seasons at Guilford after transferring from UNC Greensboro in 2004... averaged 7.2 points and 3.0 rebounds over 83 career contests... tallied a career-high 8.4 points per game as a junior and enjoyed his finest college game with 24 points and seven rebounds in a win over Emory & Henry that year... his 75 career starts rank fourth in Guilford’s Division III history and his 177 career assists stand seventh... 2006-07: Started all 29 games this season... ranked fifth on the team in points (5.7 ppg) and finished second on the team in assists (2.9 apg)... contributed 15 steals and was third on the team in 3-point percentage (.388)... his best performance this season came against Eastern Mennonite when he scored 16 points, grabbed three rebounds, and dished out five assists... he also had a good performance against Emory and Henry contributing 14 points, four rebounds, and six assists in the victory... played in an all-star game March 18 between seniors from the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) and the USA South Athletic Conference scoring 11 points in the ODAC's 108-99 win.. .2005-06: Led the team in three-point field-goal percentage (.417) and ranked third on the team in scoring and assists (48)…scored a career-high 23 points and had seven rebounds versus Emory & Henry (11/30)…had nine games of at least 10 points, the team's fourth-highest total…led the Quakers with 16 points versus Embry-Riddle…2004-05: Started the final 23 games of the season… posted double-digits in scoring in 10 games, including a game-high 18 points versus league rival Emory & Henry (12/1)… grabbed season-best seven rebounds versus league-rival Washington and Lee (2/15)… had school’s second-highest assist game of the season with six versus Emory & Henry (12/1)… High School: Played at Robert B. Glenn H.S... Personal: Attended UNC Greensboro and played with the basketball team, but did not appear in a game…four-time member of Guilford’s Student-Athlete Honor Roll… works for IT&S… plans to attend Logan College of Chiropractic… son of David and Donna Burge.
