Biography

Career: A transfer from Methodist College... played in 82 career games with 75 starts and averaged 13.3 points per game, the third-highest scoring average in the Quakers’ Division III history... reached the 1,000 career points plateau this year and finished with 1,149 points... his 1,093 points as a Quaker rank 23rd in the school’s 93-year history... stands among Guilford's Division III career assist (7th, 191) and rebounding (9th, 354) leaders and third in three-point field goals (120). His career free-throw percentage (.762) is second-best in Guilford's Division III history... 2006-07: Received second team all-region honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and D3hoops.com... earned First Team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) honors and was named the league’s Player of the Week once this year... represented Guilford on the NCAA Division III All-Sectional Tournament Team after averaging 19.5 points and eight rebounds in the Quakers’ two games... played in an all-star game March 18 between seniors from the ODAC and the USA South Athletic Conference scoring nine points in the ODAC's 108-99 win... led Guilford’s scorers eight times and made a team- and career-high 44 three-pointers, the sixth-best total in school history... his 511 points and 17.6 points per game rank second and third, respectively, in Guilford's Division III season history... The best game of his career was in a 130-114 win over Emory and Henry this season where he scored 41 points, the second-highest total in Guilford's Division III history... also scored 32 points and had 10 rebounds for one of his two double-doubles in this year's 95-77 win over Washington and Lee... his second double-double came against Lincoln (Pa.) University in the third round of the men's NCAA Division III basketball tournament with 22 points and 12 rebounds... his buzzer-beating three-pointer forced overtime in Guilford's 129-128 triple-overtime victory... 2005-06: Ranked second on the team and eighth in the ODAC with a .401 scoring average…ranked among the league's best in assists (12th), free-throw percentage (7th), steals (13th), and three-point field goals made (15th)… fourth in Guilford's Division III history with 42 three-pointers…ranked 11th on the single-season free-throw percentage list and 12th in assists…led the team in steals and three-point field goals made, and was second in assists and in rebounding…scored 10 or more points in 16 games and led the team in scoring five times, including a season-high 31 point performance against Eastern Mennonite (1/14)…recorded a team- and career-high 11 rebounds at Webber International (11/18). 2004-05: Attracted international recognition with his buzzer-beating full-court shot that beat league-rival Randolph-Macon (1/31)… started final 22 games of the season… reached double digits in scoring in 10 contests, including a Guilford-season high 34 versus Randolph-Macon (1/31)… led team in free-throw percentage… made all 10 free-throw attempts and 6-of-7 three-point shots versus Randolph-Macon (1/31)… transferred to Guilford from Methodist... 2003-04: Scored a season-high 12 points versus Averett in the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament... helped the Monarchs to the USA South title and an NCAA Tournament berth… High School: Three-time All-Yadkin Valley Conference player for coach John Phillips at Jordan-Matthews H.S... graduated as the school's second-leading career scorer and owner of the school's single-season three-pointers record (54)...
