Biography

Three-year starting point guard who has improved each season… tenacious one-on-one defender… exacts great pressure on opposing ball handlers… 2000-01: Started 15 of the Quakers' 17 games and averages 6.8 points and 3.2 rebounds per game... led the team in assists with 46 and is second in steals (23) and tied for second in blocks (5)... Hiss best game came in a loss to Washington and Lee where he scored 13 points, dished out three assists and grabbed four rebounds...  Victimized the Generals again three weeks later when he poured in 15 points and had four steals as the Quakers avenged their earlier loss... 1999-00: Earned Guilford’s Most Improved Player Award thanks to significant improvement in his assists to turnover ratio… ranked third in the league in steals… led the team in assists… scored a career-high 23 points versus Greensboro, Guilford’s highest scoring output of the year… doled out a personal-best eight assists versus Eastern Mennonite (12/11)… made a career- and game-high seven steals at Davidson… 1998-99: Named Guilford's Best Defensive Player… placed third on the team in scoring, second in assists and steals… ranked eighth in the ODAC in assists… averaged a team-high 32.9 minutes per game… enjoyed 12 double-digit scoring performances, including a season-high 21-point showing against Virginia Wesleyan (1/9)… sank game-winning free throws with two seconds left in upset of Randolph-Macon (1/12)… 1997-98: Opening-day starting point guard… led the team and ranked 15th in the league in assists… High School: Four-year letter winner and 1,000-point scorer at Princeton Day School for Coach Alan Taback… named the team's Most Valuable Player as a senior… won Most Improved Player honors as a sophomore and junior… helped PDS to its second Prep B championship in three seasons... quarterbacked the football team for two years and won team MVP honors as a senior… Personal: Son of Brenda Randall... business management major.
