  • earned his third straight First Team All-ODAC award and joins just four other Quakers so honored in school history
  • set a number of league and school records in the finest of his four seasons
  • ranked second in the league with 89 receptions for 1,262 yards and 18 touchdowns, both conference highs
  • his 18 touchdown catches set a Guilford record and rank second in ODAC history
  • also sits second among Division III touchdown reception leaders through games of November 28
  • posted the second-highest receiving yards total in Guilford history with a figure that stands ninth nationally
  • ranks sixth in Division III in receiving yards (126.2) and receptions (8.9) per game
  • the team captain stands 17th nationally with a league-best 11.0 points per game average
  • captured two ODAC Offensive Player of the Week Awards this year and garnered his fourth career spot on the D3football.com / Scoutware Team of the Week
  • landed both honors after catching 10 passes for a school-record 253 yards (fifth in league history) and a career-best three touchdowns in the Quakers’ win over Shenandoah

  • his best performance in a win came against Randolph-Macon College, when he recorded seven catches for a career-high 226 yards and three touchdowns

2012

Adam Smith

  • came to camp in August as a quarterback, but moved to receiver and had one of the best campaigns by a rookie pass-catcher in school history
  • led Guilford and ranked second in the conference with 65 receptions for 874 yards and five touchdowns
  • his 874 yards sit 12th on the Quakers’ single-season list and his 65 catches rank 13th
  • finished seventh in the ODAC with 92.8 all-purpose yards per game
  • had four games with over 100 receiving yards, including a league-best 190-yard showing (on 10 catches) versus Randolph-Macon, which earned him a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week
  • caught a season-high two touchdowns at Randolph-Macon, including the game-winning score with 2:02 left in regulation
  • hauled in league-high 13 passes for 134 yards and a score Sept. 8 versus Methodist University, his second college contest
  • the 13 receptions stand 10th in school history
  • had nine grabs for 170 yards in the Quakers’ season finale at Emory & Henry
